My sister has just given birth to twins. She used to be very conscious about her appearance, with weight being a major consideration, up until she was in her second trimester when she just kept adding on weight. Her OB-Gyn told her not to worry, her weight gain is a natural consequence of being pregnant, and with twins no less, she is expected to have a considerable weight gain. Really, despite her strict discipline and self control in eating only fruits and vegetables to fill her up, occasional cravings for chocolate chips and ice cream had nonetheless taken its toll on her weight. During her last trimester she could not care any less and ended up weighing about thirty pounds more. This caused her some fits of depression, but we told her not to worry. We know her to be a person of determination, self control and discipline, and we assured her that she will surely lose all the weight she wants to, after she gives birth.

So now she has given birth to two healthy babies, a boy and a girl, and her life could not be happier. She is breastfeeding them, which tends to cause her to eat more, hence more weight gain. But she is looking forward to going back to work, and with a strong resolve, to finally shed those unwanted pounds. I told her she can enroll in a fitness center, or go to a healthy diet that will slowly sculpt back her body. But she told me her schedule will not permit a daily trip to the gym, and a strict diet might work to the disadvantage of her kids who might lose out on nutrients as she is still breastfeeding. She looks forward to trying good and reliable weight loss pills to achieve her desired results, after her period of feeding.
